Fungal Infections

Toxoplasma
Toxoplasma infection is transmitted from feces of pets, especially cats. Most women already have the virus toxo in him before pregnancy and therefore have built up antibodies to fight the virus. But there are some who do not have immunity to this virus. Toxoplasma infection during pregnancy can potentially cause blindness and brain damage to the baby. Therefore, avoid the handling of animal waste while pregnant and always make sure the food you eat has been cooked thoroughly.

Group B Streptococcus infection
Three out of ten people have bacteria Group B streptococcus (GBS) in the body. In general, these bacteria are harmless and do not cause disease, as well as during pregnancy. Even so, in some pregnancies, GBS can cause infection in babies before or during birth took place.
If in a previous pregnancy your baby infected with GBS, consume antibiotics to prevent infection of the fetus you that right now. If you are suffering from a bladder infection with GBS, also need to be given antibiotics during labor.
